Seville - Sensacional

Our room
Courtyard outside our room
Have spent the day in Seville today, with a combination of Bus / guided tour and on our own. Another beautiful and unique city. But first I have to mention the Hotel that we are staying in.The hotel could well be a destination in itself and definitely warrants a separate blog, but I am just too tired at the moment to get my head around that. So, I will combine the two.

One of many tunnels
And another
Firstly the hotel is located in the heart of the old city, and more specifically the Jewish quarter, so there is a lot of history here. The Hotel is made up of a number of individual properties that are now joined together. The hotel is linked underneath by a series of tunnels that have now been refurbished and add to the atmosphere of the place.

Evidence of Jewish past
Little walkway between properties
Beautiful little courtyard fountain
The place feels a little like a rabbit warren, but there is a new vista at each turn, whether a little courtyard or tunnel, or open lounge area decorated with colourful mosaics and period furniture.

I will let the photos do the talking..

City from the Cathedral Tower
Bridge in Palace park

So now to Seville, another beautiful city, the forth largest in Spain. We did a bus and guided tour this morning and walked around by ourselves this afternoon.

Amazing park and Buildings
This evening we went to a dinner and flamingo dancing with the tour group which was really fun. Again here are a few pictures from the day.
