Well getting to the airport proved to be a bit of a drama, with my computer crashing at 11.00am yesterday morning, but "PTL", with Michael and Jono's help, a new computer was purchased and fully functional 10 hours later, I do believe in miracles.
So let the BLOGGing begin.........
Michael dropped us at the airport earlier this morning, we checked in and then relaxed in the Koru Club lounge until boarding time. We are very excited about this trip. The planning and anticipation, of all that we will be doing and seeing, has been such a blessing already and we are not yet off the ground. This is the plane that we will be flying on to Singapore, a B777-300. At Singapore we will transfer to a A380 for the flight to Zurich.
We are VERY grateful that we are getting the opportunity to do this. To visit favorite places from past visits and seeing many new and exciting ones.As you can see we've found our seats, settled in and are having a few sips of champagne :-)
A little later...we have now had a couple of very comfortable flights and as I update this blog we are sitting in the Swiss Air Lounge awaiting our flight to Venice, departing in about 3 hours. Will be in touch when we get there and have settled in........
