so we began in earnest back in March to consider our options. After a couple of weeks, the following itinerary came together that excited us. The places that we are going to visit are either new for us, like Spain, Portugal, the Adriatic and New Hampshire, or they are places that we have really enjoyed in the past and want to revisit, like Venice, Paris and London to name a few.
The trip is linked together by a cruise and two coach tours, and then filled out with three to six day visits in a number of great cities and locations.
The trip begins with a twelve day Oceania cruise from Venice , through the Adriatic to Istanbul on a ship called the "Riviera".
The Spain and Portugal bus tour is for nineteen days and we stay in some old medieval castles and a palace. Have a look at this video clip of the Spain and Portugal trip, it's going to be FUN!!!!
And finally we will do an eight day tour of New England in the Fall. This is a trip that we have always thought we would love to do, so now's the time!!! Well it's not really finally.... we will then spend a few day's in New York, Washington, San Francisco and Santa Rosa, before FINALLY heading home. Getting EXCITED!!!
