Passing Through The Dardanelles

We woke early this morning as the ship was due to pass through the Dardanelles between 5-00am and 6-00am, which was during the sunrise.

It was a very cool time as we went past the closest point that the ship got to ANZAC Cove, on the Gallipolli peninsula. The sun rose as we passed through the straits, and then we went down to the gym and spent an hour there. The ship then passed by the town of Gallipolli, from where the peninsula takes its name.

We are now heading to Istanbul and will be there at 3-00pm
